I'm still hampered by my dodgy Piriformis. ... but even so, I managed to run my fastest 3000 metres for 3 years when winning the Welsh Masters M60+ title on Sunday at Brecon. To be fair the competition (Huw Roberts) was absent through injury. The downside to that was I had to run the race pretty much as a time trial. I got to 1500 metres on schedule for 12 minutes but I tired a bit, alone in the breeze

I did the WMAA champs 3000 metres.
I'm still hampered by my dodgy Piriformis. ... but even so, I managed to run my fastest 3000 metres for 3 years when winning the Welsh Masters M60+ title on Sunday at Brecon. To be fair the competition (Huw Roberts) was absent through injury. The downside to that was I had to run the race pretty much as a time trial. I got to 1500 metres on schedule for 12 minutes but I tired a bit, alone in the breeze
:-( and ended up with 12:10.4 . Six weeks until Denmark it is coming together! :-) A bit of yoga and stretching is on the menu for this evening.
