I did the EMACS 2017 Cross Country.

Garmin measured the course as short. All age groups over 60 ran in my race. The 65s were strong. Stuart Thorpe and David Oxland were M65 medallists.I was only 35 seconds behind Michael Mann. Alan Newman was further in front. Andy Murray and Ian Snow were behind me.

Generally speaking this was a good day for me in the context of the poor season I have had due to injury and hence lack of training. The decision to take my Nike Waffle sole X-C spikes was a good one... rain and made the top field very greasy and slippy.
