It was a 5K time trial with Lliswerry
Runners. We ran from the Tennis Centre to the Riverfront Theatre ( web site : http://tickets.newportlive.co.uk/
) as a warm up.
We then did 5K time trial over the Newport
Central (Riverfront) parkrun course. I clocked 21:13 unofficially which is
quicker than my Riverfront parkrun best time which I ran a couple of weeks ago.
I then hung around for a bit chatting to
people - hence I wasn't moving much.
It was getting very cold so I stopped my
watch and cadged a lift back to the Tennis Centre with Desmond Jones.
